Our brokenness and imperfections are not something we have to fix before Jesus shows up. We simply have to be willing to let him meet us there. And that is something easier said than done.

How often do we resign ourselves to suffer with whatever it is we are carrying around, or to live “maimed” and a shell of ourself? Jesus Christ shows us that he can not only help us “cope,” but truly and radically transform our life, renew us in ways unexpected and unimaginable.
