As we enter Holy Week, we don’t just celebrate this week like any other holiday. Rather, this is a week in which we really, truly, and actively participate in the Mystery of our redemption. In a concrete way, we offer our lives to the Father through, with, and in Christ.

Why confess? Why spend time in prayer confessing? Isn’t that just beating yourself up? Aren’t we all just good people at heart? Perhaps, but perhaps not. And perhaps confession will allow the Lord to do incredible things within you.

Everyone wants to hear God’s voice coming from the clouds. But what’s to say you would listen then? God speaks and has spoken to us in many different ways. But do we listen?

Ever prayer for something and it didn’t happen? Did it shake your confidence in God? Statistically ,this is one of the primary reasons people stop praying and practicing their Faith. But why do we think our petitions are not heard? And how are our petitions heard? Perhaps, God isn’t at fault, but our understanding is at fault.
